This poem , as I told you when I first read it, is one of your very best, and that is quite a compliment because all your poems are amazing.  Those two last lines... seeing the dawn brake in her eyes... convey a tender intimacy that is very hard to relay.  Excellent work Neil  xoxoxo

We're having some lovely sunsets at the moment, but I haven't as yet ventured out of bed early enough to greet the dawn! So it's good to read your poem and imagine it all for myself.
