I never get a day off.....
weekends should be a day of rest but as a single mother, that's when shopping, bills, housework, cleaning, washing etc etc has to be done...weekdays are about working hard as well as bringing up my children......I love it though.

You had a good day despite it all! I was disappointed not to make my choir last evening, but the snow started and it was two inches thick by the time I was due to go, so I chickened out. missed it, though.

I think that was a most productive day off! I think it is fine that you enjoy your guitar! I have a song that plays, too! I bet the kitchen feels new, too! Have a great weekend! sam

when I read a post like this I think of all those frantic years ....I used
to thank God every day on my way to work because I loved nursing so much ...but there is a time for everything and now I thank God every day for retirement life with my soul mate...for quality time together.

I see you gave thanks for many blessings even if your day off was not one. It speaks well of your congregation they keep you able to pay your bills, and hopefully more. Not in the fashion of God's people in Malachi's day. May you be blessed in all your ways.

Our modern culture. . .
has made days off a time to catch up on what we have been neglecting.
