Strange behavior! Thanks very much for visiting the "India blog" and your comment--they haven't given the exact figures of the tiger census yet, but it will be out before the international conference in October. I thought the concept of enlisting volunteers (under the guidance of a naturalist) was a great idea--wish I'd heard of it earlier!
