I guess the jolt is harmless enough, but after I touch my refrigerator, I always imagine a curling thread of smoke in the air, or the electric whiff my Lionel trains used to give off when there was a spark. Thanks for your comment and visit!

I/ve taken to slapping anything metal (refrigerator, doorknob, etc.) before grabbing it - a way, of course, of "burying" the shock. Makes you feel kinda - you know - reality-challenged? Well, there's always spring. Thanks for the visit and comment.
