I was looking forward to hearing what Simone's friend would report back too. Your series of posts was not only interesting, but highly informative too, Naut, and has given the incentive to read up more on this subject. Great writing!

This was an exceptional post. I know what you said about those of faith. I am not about to go to that; however, all you post is not factual. A lot of the real, sure, proven facts are in the faith!

This series was enlightening as Former says... I learned a lot and was amazed by how much I did not know. As a young student in college I took some courses that included the study of the major religions but nothing like what you told us about. Back then I read the Koran ... but do not remember there being too much controversial stuff in it. Some of the facts you showed us in your posts were totally new to me and to all I knew. That friend that I showed your post to never got back to me with whatever his mullah said. ( Heck he might not even be speaking to me now loll) I can't imagine what the mullah could have said though... what can you say when in black and white it says that Your prophet/messiah decapitated people, mere children... not to mention rape the women and enslave the children... ( which you did not say in your series but I found out later on reading on my own and asking about it) The whole thing is crazy. Be well my friend and thank you for all the time and effort you put into educating us :-) xoxoxo

You are an excellent writer and certainly educated well beyond my own formal education. This is such a serious subject, and I really don't have a solution for these Muslims I have never cared for.
I have had my own personal experiences in my life with Muslims which makes me an anti- Muslim, and having a TV show called Little Mosque on he Prairie doesn't do a thing to change my feelings.
I think the solution is to just get out of Afghanistan, and let the Taliban do what they do there. Hey, if the folks living there can't put an end to the insanity of a religion run amok, why should it be my worry or our worry?
It should be obvious with all the Muslims in North America, Britain, France, Denmark and elsewhere, that they may just all go back to the desert and take their sick beliefs with them if we took all the military out of there?
The one great thing this Obama can do before he's a complete failure, is find the intestinal fortitude to bring all the U.S. soldiers home to defend America, and then of course Canada can do the same.
That action of course would take a lot of humility for us all to do, but we wouldn't be looking at the daily horror of young American and Canadian soldiers giving up their lives to the evils of Islam.
