You are right, physical malady regardless. King Janaka's Guru (Jananka was the father of Sita ... from the Ramayana), Ashtavakra, meaning crooked from eight parts in the body, was one of the highest spiritual teachers at the age of only eight years. His teachings are no less than Bhagavad-Gita itself. The book is Ashtavakra Samhita.

This is very interesting! I think health takes in the whole person, from physical to spiritual! For me the healthiest would be the one who is spiritual healthy regardless of a physical malady! sam

I think I should be really be able to add something meaningful to the perspective you are reading on non-violence. I'll try the best I can. Thank you so much for reading.

Re: Nursing describes the definition of wellness is the absence of illness

Wellness is positive, illness, negative. This was the very subject of discussion. If something positive has to be defined with reference to a negative, it means there is no direct definition of the positive. Interesting, isn't it? We are born with health, illness is an outside invasion that will go and health is there to stay. It IS. Similar is with violence, it is acquired from outside ... through cultural mores, established norms, society, conditionings, etc that destroys our mental well being.

Nursing describes the definition of wellness is the absence of illness
