ha, me too!
Just lately decided why the heck not? And I have been playing with those short-term, 6-12 shampoo wash-out colors to find which one suits me best--not too intense or dark, not too reddish, not too youngish... One day I will look in the mirror several times and like what I see every time, and that will be the color to go with.
Or I will just go get some of those crayon colors, and do a rainbow... again!

My former DIL had naturally curly, naturally blonde hair with both
highlights and lowlights. Beautiful. She complained about it all the time. I think it's our nature to gripe about our hair, whatever it looks like.

I can relate! Several months back I had my hair highlighted in what the stylist called "chunks". A couple of days later my granddaughter told me, from the backseat of the car, that my hair looked like a pumpkin--orange and gold stripes! Yikes! The things we go through!
