- Go to Sleeping... a way of dealing with stress?
It helps me sometimes to deal with particular things I'm feeling anxious about--either by 'folding them up until tomorrow' or 'putting an ad in the Universe Want Ads' right before I go to sleep. Never hurts to ask for what you want or consciously clear your mind to focus on the actual real moment, that being a need to rest (not necessarily escape, only). Best wishes.

I find sleep a great way to deal with stress. For a set amount of hours I will not think about the stresses of the day or at the very worst only have a few vague memories of what is stressing me out.

Definitely we deal with stress by sleeping. Also many people try to sleep away depression. I used to always forget to take vitamins. I guess I felt like I really didn't need them. But, I have become a believer in them as I have gotten older. It's hard to always eat in such a way that the body gets what it needs in the way of vitamins and minerals. A multi-vitamin and some extra Vitamin C or whatever is needed can make all the difference in the world in how one feels.

Sleeping is indeed an unconscious way of avoiding stress!

I know as we age we do need supplements --- and with weather and the winds added; it's like battling force and can truly tire one. You're a busy lady and I think 'rest' is good for anyone. I send you big hugs ~ Elyse
