I've thought about it, and I agree with Tzippy. Plus, not visiting the Haitian resorts would harm the Haitian economy even more...

I am not saying that we should help as much as we can- we must and we shoul
and do whatever we can to help each other, That is a given to me, but dont take it too far in the guilt unless you are responsible for their situation. And yes I need help right now too :)

I cant relate to your way of thinking here
because what you are saying is just because people are suffering in one place that people in the other place should feel guilty that they are not part of that catastrophe, thats the most rediculous thing I ever heard. When I was under attack in a shelter people in the other side of the world were in a party, so they shouldnt party because somebody is trying to kill me? I just dont get it. Should I never eat because someone somewhere does not have food, or should I not laugh because someone somewher else is crying, should I not wear shoes because someone's foot was amputated? than You should now not sleep in a comfortable bed because some bitch from hell is destroying my life and making me loose my house!

I find it sick to want to go play, even if they need the money.
A cruise ship could fill up with people wanting to go to Haiti to help out. Maybe I am just old and cynical.
