What a great initiative on the part of your church.  I was saddened yesterday to hear that people beyond the city are facing even more dire circumstances as aid is not getting to them at all.

Dan, we all pray that help to those in utter need receive it timely. I am pained at the violence that breaks out due to hunger and people get so alarmed that they will not get it before it finishes with others that there is bloodshed. Pray that does not happen and that God makes you all His agencies in aleviating the untold sufferings.

I recently read of a couple that sold their home and gave half the profits to Convoy of Hope! Good for your congregation! sam

I'll continue to pray for all involved.

That is wonderful. Our church did the same in offerings and we have two missionaries who keep in touch who were there when this happened and do not plan to come home until the worst is over. God bless your people and all who are helping there. May God fully bless the people there.

Dan, anyone who is still being rescued alive at this point is a true
miracle, and praise God for that!...and it is awesome to see countries and agencies working alongside each other in an all out effort...too bad it takes tragedies like this for something like that to happen....

I just feel so proud to read that there are such selfless people working
in terrible conditions and accepting terrible danger to themselves. I pray that they are able to get that fuel through and that at least the children are fed.
