I obviously provided the theme and then had them come up with supporting...rhyming words; there's a lot of baiting that goes on till things make sense. Sometimes this works and other times it falls flat. We worked for weeks on another poem and eventually gave up on trying to get a product.

Wonderful collaboration! I loved the use of onomatopoeia, too! I would think it helps keep them interest in poetry at such a young age! KUDOS!!! sam
