I really like your posts on this subject, Muley. And I guess I did something right in a past life, cause I really don't have much to complain about in this one.

Re: Mikey, you've sure got organized religion's number!
Hi Guy! Thank you for the kind words.  There are billions of intelligent people that have fallen for the lies of the religions and government. Fear is a very powerful tool for controlling people, that is why it is used so much.

Re: Sinome
Hi Sinome! you don't really want to be me, you have everything you need inside yourself.  I was very fortunate to have been blessed with spiritual experiences when I was young that proved to me what I try to teach others.  If you care to go back a couple of months you can find these experiences in Kreskin's ESP Kit and Beyond.  You can prove everything I say to yourself. Personal experience is the only way you can prove things to yourself.

Mikey, you've sure got organized religion's number!
They are after absolute control of the congregation's unquestioned behavior and do anything they can think of, to squeeze a weekly payday of them. It's a scam perpetrated by those who believe their own propaganda, or are too enamored with power over others and too lazy to work for an honest living. Fear of eternal damnation, and instilling feelings of guilt, are the big guns that religion uses against those, they have to keep toeing the official party line, Control is even exerted upon what "God" told his high priests and priestesses. that HE will allow his believers to EAT! It's just a big load of crap, we both know this, but apparently billions of otherwise intelligent people line up each week, for their consecrated spoonful. The planet's most intelligent animals are still pretty cooperatively gullible, I conclude.

Hey Mike... I do agree that Original sin is either as you said a ploy or perhaps just a poetic way of saying that we, when we are born, are imperfect and have to work very hard to become good enough to achieve whatever we consider to be the ultimate prize... be it to ascend to the precense of the ultimate being or to realize we are that being... not a part of Him but Him Himself... Now,  I have to tell you that I am envious of the certainty you have about what happens after we die... about where we come from... about karma and repaying our debt ... about everything actually.  You are just so sure... and I am so not :-)  so I wanted you to know that I wish I were you xoxoxo

Re: you are right about religion being wrong
Hi Tzippy nice to meet you!  It is not original sin that dictates our karma. It is true that each soul when first entering the worlds of duality receives a primal karma, it has nothing to do with Adam and Eve, or any other person. The vast majority of karma you are now working on has been determined by your past actions.

you are right about religion being wrong
but you are wrong about the original sin, where do you think the karma began?
