I've heard of that show. Never had the chance to see it...I don't have any entrepreneurial ideas. I tend to focus on writing and doing the task at hand for work I devote my energy toward that.

We have a version of this show in England
called Dragon's Den. I love the ideas people come up with but, honestly, some of them are so hopeless at pitching for funds and others don't even know how much money their companies have made to date! Great television though

I agree with Rhonda you have to have the passion for this. It is difficult even when you do get backing. You have to be tough skinned, willing to work 12 to 15 hours at least daily for a long time. You have to be willing to take advise from these sorts of people if you use them. I have had several businesses and made a living for myself and three children totally on my own. It is not for the faint of heart.

Secret to Success
I've heard the secret to success is passion. That when you find an opportunity that you really want to pursue, you have to throw your all into it. From the sound of your blog entry, you have many interests, but perhaps you have yet to find that one thing you are passionate enough about to succeed.
