I agree with Wiley, you've a way with words, that makes me a bit envious.
Breathless,
The seeming ease with which you eloquently and smoothly, put pictures into our minds, seamlessly telling of mundane daily life, and making it interesting and entertaining, is something that I think must be inborn and cannot be taught. I know that you are a meticulous observer of life and living things, and a talented commentator, as are many of us. Few however, can make us other writers wish fervently that we could also write, as if editing is unnecessary, because every word seems to flow perfectly from your fingertips. That is a rare and wonderful thing. I like your style.

I think I would rather worry about galoshes as opposed to snow boots! Have a great day! sam

I never go the Avondale way anymore.  It may be a short cut from North Town, but it's the only place I've ever gotten a speeding ticket in my life and I've done my share of speeding.

Sounds nice to me. Although too much rain can be depressing.

OutaBreath
You've a lovely writing style and great descriptive talents, you described the geese perfectly, we see hundreds of them getting ready to go south to you every year. I would rather have the snow than the rain though, lived in Vancouver once and was depressed all the time. Well I do take anti-depressants now, but it's not the weather anymore, it's just the state of the world.
