Actually, I wouldn't say anything to the teacher. I remember singing
that song on those carefree days of childhood when everything was just easier, even though we didn't know it at the time. Does that song really hurt anyone? I had fun with it. Your kids had fun with it. It is a fun song if you don't bother visualizing or thinking too deeply.
On a personal note in response to your query, I have been writing like crazy each day to pay off college tuition for my two youngest. I make the bulk of my money at earn money writing content and it has been keeping me busy and the money flowing in. I need to remember to visit old friends from this place time and again. Take care.

if I were to do it over again with my kids
which of course hindsight is brilliant, lol I would go ask that teacher how she thinks that a song like that would benefit my child's education. or psychological well being. Kids are so impressionable and we want to fill them with positive foundation, it doesnt matter what the teacher says or does, but when your child sees that you look out for her well being, and she understands that you dont approve of such, she will have learned two important lessons, one how much you love her and two, this is not a song worth singing etc etc. :) ok i got carried away here sorry

Yes, but maybe say it in a way that she doesn't take it as a personal attac
and joins you in a project to re-examine what she is teaching.
