One of my favorite photos of all time (which has since been lost to me)
is a picture of a darling adorable baby girl, maybe about 15 months old, in a cute little ruffled bonnet. She's sitting in her stroller, just glaring at the camera. It's not little baby petulance, no tame little-girl pout. It's full-blown woman's rage. Your first paragraph brought the pic. to mind.
