I used to watch 'Days', too! The funny thing was that I could take a few years off, and then come back and be caught up in one episode! The thing I loved the most was that I always had something to discuss with my sister, who watched it too...and we'd get all excited about what was going on, etc. It brought us together. And yes, sometimes my life's been a soap opera...but how carried away I get about it is up to me! There've been times I wished we could just....cut to a commercial!!!

i was a loyal soap opera watcher in colllege
days of our lives, all my children, the edge of night, I scheduled my classes around my soaps and just loved them. I continued watching all my children for many years. I am so glad to report that Iwas able to kick the habit. lol its like a drug.

With all the drama I see I would say my life is a lot like a soap opera...My grandmothers and my mother love their soaps.

I heard on a quiz show recently that they're called soap operas because originally they were sponsored by soap powder ads. I didn't know that!

Is my life a soap opera? To a certain extent everybody's life is a bit like one, otherwise soap operas would not be so popular. I never watch them nowadays, because there are other things to do.
