I shall never look at smoke the same way again! I thought it to be very refreshing to have another star to wish upon; we rarely get it right the first time! Love you my dear friend! I haven't been out reading much the past couple of days! I have to spend time with my children, they just learned for certain their father has cancer! Their family does not produce survivors with three having succumbed to in the last two years! Like you said, another star may what they need! sammie xoxoxo

sometimes that second or even third star that is wished upon can bring the
greatest joy of all...the one that is meant for you.....I wished all my life and then suddenly....Wiley.

beautifully written, sweetie
Sometimes the passion is just fleeting and even if the love remains the intensity of it is gone and staring at the empty space where it used to be you can only admit they were not the one.

Beautifully expressed xoxoxoxox

perhaps it was not love that burned out

perhaps it was the illussion of love that has faded. For love is eternal by definition.

your poem is so beautifully put together that it is so moving and written so well and relecting such important points. You are talented.

I hum, 'when you wish upon a star' --- Sinome so many lovely, wonderful metaphors and the imagery even, makes me feel as if I'm in your thoughts, your very heart.  So moving ~ Elyse

Sinome
The comparisons are so in tune with the poignant thought that this poem will abide and endure in the minds of the readers long after it has been read. Great work! xoxoxo

An unfortunate reality faced by many couples every day...BTW, I think this might be the fastest I've commented on a post after it was made.
