Isn't it sad that the more we try to make our parents love us they just refuse to? My "brother" does nothing for my mother. He bought her a snuggie for christmas and here i am buying Gucci bags for her. But you are so right that making ourselves happy should be the first priority but my biggest thing with that is i can't understand why people love people that treat them like crap and the ones that are good to them they just want to hurt. I guess that's just the way life is right. Thanks for the advice.

I just recently have gone through a very similar situation with my father whom is never gong to accept me for who I am....my advice keep your head up, eye on the prize and make yourself happy above all..
P.S. I have been working on weight loss as well, keep up the fine work you are doing great!
