Nautikos, what's the criterion, just writing the 50,000 words...
That's it! Putting out 1,667 words a day for 30 days gets a writer just over 50K, and a rough draft is completed. That's a win!
In my opinion, that's when the real work starts, honing and editing and deleting the padding, filling in gaps, getting the characters to actually dance...

What amazing statistics! It is almost unbelievable that there are so many dedicated writers out there. I wonder how many of them will finally get their novels published. Thanks for sharing!

It is becoming a very exciting event and attracting more and more people
it is amazing how writing appears tobe so much a partof somany people.Just like painting for others...yet allthe people that I know of, say to me...I could never do that.
