Chuck - how are you? This poem is just outstanding and I feel the same as Betty. Never thought of a pillow case like that...Just getting ready to go to church now and yes I had a wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for your visit and it is so great hearing from you.

These lines reminded me how many years ago I threw away my tear-stained pillow and vowed that my new one would never, ever be soiled in that way.
How many times I have wiped out your tears
I kept your cries and screams secret for years
I stayed with you and didn't tell you goodbye
