How many times must it be drilled into that thick noggin of yours?
Back in October 2008, before the election, prominent economists were saying that a stimulus package was absolutely necessary to avert catastrophe, and that, of course there would be a deficit attached -- but it was necessary in order to keep the economy on a somewhat even keel.
The problem with the money is that it hasn't all been used.
No matter who was in office, there would have been a stimulus package, and the Republicans would have been all for -- and so would you have, I bet.
Of course, you can't begin to imagine where we would be right now if it weren't for the stimulus package.
