Bathing a cat is best done early in the day before someone
has done something to aggravate the cat. Or you.

I used to give Chipper baths (my long-gone doggie), but I never could get Pitiful near water. Son tried it once and she left claw marks up his arms, over his shoulders and down his back as she escaped. After that we just brushed her.
