Let's hear some more, although I feel arguments will ultimately lead to a naught. Not to say, however, I am not with you Naut. I am, but in a different way. Interesting.

That's long.
I'm still letting the facts settle in my brain. I'll comment later.

Just one note of clarification for Chuck. Christians do not believe Jesus
is only a prophet. We believe Him to be the Son of God who died for our sins...no other man has done that...

This too is my last comment in this blog.
For Justi, Nautikos and anybody else who suspects me of being politically over-correct. Needless to say I am not.

Having spent three years studying the Koran etc, you have chosen to base your arguments on the most damaging quotations available. Even in this post you start off with an inflammatory quotation and in your last paragraph you ask your readers to ponder that, instead of considering the most important content in the middle. We bloggers are busy people who, let's face it,  often do not read and comment as thoroughly as we should do; we read the beginning skip to the end and wham bam thank you mam off we go again so that we can click on the next blog!

Nautikos, I think you mean well and I truly like and respect you, but as I wrote in my blog yesterday: there is no sense in flogging a  dead horse.

Re: Kabu & Sinome

Both of you are laughing out loud, but I don't know about what!! Is it because I believe in Jesus Christ (PBUH) ?  Is it becuase I have written something that expressed deeply from the heart!!  I don't believe that there is one Muslim on earth who doesn't believe in Jesus. If Jesus is among us today he will be preaching love, tolerance, and humblness. Both of you are arguing about the Islam religion not knowing that Muslems believe in Jesus (PBUH) the same way they believe in Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) .There is no destingtion between prophets. All of them were sent by God to preach one thing and that is submittion to God. And for your own knowledge Jesus was mentioned in the Quran twenty five times if this means any thing to you. If you look up what is the meaning of Islam, you'll find the exact translation as follow: "Absolute submission to God." This what Jesus preached. I hope we don't diagree on that belief. God sent the prophets to mankind in order to restore order in the universe and in order for man to be aware that there is only one God that rules the heavens and the earth. To elaborate more on this matter I like to share with you and the readers of Blogit this verse from the holy Quran that reads:

Verily, those who believe in God and His Messengers and wish to make distinction

between God and His Messengers (by believing in God and disbelieving in His

Messengers), saying: "We believe in some but we reject others," and wish to adopt

a way in between, they are in truth disbelievers. And we have prepared for the

disbelievers a humiliating torment. And those who believe in God and His

Messengers and make no distinction between any of them (Messengers), We shall

give them their rewards, and God is Most Forgiving, Most merciful.

(Quran 4:150-152)

Also I like to share with you some of my quotes that I have written in the past:

He is the Lord of the Noble Throne

So kneel down to the Master of the Uknown

Every man can conquer the world

By continuously staying close to the Lord

Seeking refuge in the Lord of Mankind

Will continue reminding man to be refined

We all people of the book. We all believe in the same message. And how can someone otherwise?

Also I have written these qoutes for people who are arrogant and love to keep the hate ruling their life. Please read below:

Beware of men with arrogant nature

Who believe they are God's best creatures

A fanatic person is always confined

To his own blind beliefs they are unkind

When letting pride and arrogance rule

Remember allowing it make you cruel

Don't let negatively rule your brain

Nor build around it a coat of rust and stain

People that hate acquired bad traits

Fell to the bait and can't think straight

This is my last word on this blog. I tried to spread tollerance and I thought I could make a difference.

Naut

Actually this is not about the violent muslim and the followers of Christ. All the words are not being heard, that can be seen from the comments. I see Chuck's posts as a life long rant on violent self righteousness hidden behind a curtain of protection he gets from the Koran. Elingo is the same on the opposite end of the scale. She wants to be politically correct at any cost and wants all the world to believe all will be well when we stop fanning the flame. Neither of these situations, beliefs etc. solve anything.

Moderate Muslims are no less silent than are moderate Christians. The world is full of combatants and cowards. Between that lies the truth: Love and Hate. We as a world of people misunderstand these words, actions and have taken up the cause ourselves, which we are not able to fight. This whole debate is bringing out a lot of what people think; however, it is totally sad, it leaves out the Two warring Factions ending with a misunderstanding whichever way it leans.

I do appreciate your keeping this going, it is forcing many to think. In all honesty I do not think it is helping to create a less violent change.

Wow Naut... I so admire your enthusiasm.  he knowledge of the subject you exibit in your writings is amazing ... It is obvious you are dedicating lots of time and effort to this debate and it is as well clear that you enjoy all of this as much as we do reading it and following the give and take that occurs.  Again thanks and I will be reading you :-)  Oh,  and loll Taps  ... I also went to get some coffee  loll... but I got back to my chair right away  loll

Everything about this post/blog is very interesting--your words, the exerpts, the quotes, all the comments.  I'm afraid there is no peace in this world, never has been, never will be.

I REMAIN A VERY INTERESTED BYSTANDER BUT CHUCKS POEM MEANS WHAT? He is a closet Christian or a closet Muslim?

You need to be careful what you advise on your posts.  In the middle of it, when you told readers to go get a cup of hot coffee, I obeyed you.  But, I totally got sidetracked in the kitchen and made a whole pot of WileyJohn's fat-burning soup before I remembered why I went to the kitchen to begin with.  Now that the soup is simmering away, I'm finally back to read the second half.

I wrote this poem last year:

                       ""Lights of Christmas""

Tranquility and peace it's the festival season
The mystic birth of Christ the miracle is the reason
The sounds of Christmas are filling the atmosphere
Angels of heaven are joyous and in good cheer
Faith and obedience in the eyes so clear
Silver bells are ringing their music is for grace
Christ on earth angels must kneel obey and praise
Carols are playing faith and harmony will entail
Devotion for Jesus and his lasting face will prevail
While the snow piles on my window glass
I gasped in celebration I joined the mass
It is snowing outside yet I feel the warmth of my heart
Christmas stars are glittering exuberant and so bright
On this majestic and elegant graceful night
I meditated and prayed to Jesus in quiet
Every thing is right my soul in total delight
Infinite surrender to faith and the glory of his light

Nautikos

O.K. my friend that was a LONG POST and most of the time your new found buddy, Chuckie, goes on forever and a day, so here's my contribution.

THIS IS TROUBLE.  ONE BILLION IN THE WORLD. THEY ARE
LOOKING TO TAKE OVER.

----- These are facts I was never aware of...How about you? What are YOUR thoughts?

In light of the murders at Ft. Hood by a Muslim Officer (who had sworn to defend the people, our Constitution and the United States) this article becomes more timely and real than ever;

Can a good, practicing Muslim also be a good American? I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:

Theologically - no.  Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god
of Arabia .

Religiously - no.  Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah
 except Islam.

Scripturally - no.  Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).

Geographically - no.  Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no.  Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make
 friends with Christians or Jews.

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran/009-friends-with-christians-jews.htm

Politically - no.  Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically - no.  Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him.

Intellectually - no.  Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no.  Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not  allow freedom of religion and expression.  Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist.  Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no.  Because when we declare "one nation under God,"  the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore after much study and deliberation....perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country.  They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans or Canadians.

These Nazis have to be whupped the same as the other Nazis were, it should be easier because these clowns are anxious to die and get all the virgins.Selfish lot too,

What a mess people have made with religion. My philosophy is simple:
If they want to kill me in the name of God, they are of the devil.  If they hide the truth of that motive, they are even worse than those that openly preach it. This relates to any religion who preaches "convert OR die."  God is about freedom of choice.  Evil is about taking that choice away...
