- Go to Islamo-Fascism – Unfortunately, the Debate has come to an End…Or has it?
Re: Is this the end?
Your comment made me think on imagining what it would be like to try and have this discussion in any Islamic country.......without any threat of retribution.......hmmm, I can't think of any, where that would be possible.

Just as...
to err is human, to differ is also human...it is not necessary to ignore / hide differences, but to learn to understand & appreciate them in the light of the abundant commonality & beauty of humanity...that is the spiritual evolution that humanity needs to go through, and will, each at one's own pace & on one's own path...any contribution anyone makes, which includes you Naut, my respected friend, as well as all the well-informed writers here, towards that worthy goal, even if seemingly endless, is worth the effort. Best wishes & Happy Holidays to you all !

Re: don't stop debating for I am learning from everyone
How can my belief of you having the right to your own worship as I be dividing? Like I said, when you threaten my way of life and/or family then I can and will defend it! That's human nature and common sense. What I said has nothing about division to it. I disagree 100% with your assumption.

I refuse to believe that your posts on this subject have caused more hatred and bitterness as mentioned in the last comment. They do, though, give opportunity to air such that is already stored up in hearts and minds.

Conflict solution is a very, very difficult skill to learn. Judging by the comments you've already received on your latest post it would seem that this debate has only caused more anger and bitterness.
If people want to they can find texts in the Bible to justify all kinds of things that most Christians and Jews would find unsuitable/irrelevant/unacceptable in the modern world.

I admire you're knowledge and ability to write it, most of all I admire your courage at facing the debaters who only want to sell their religion of death in Blogit.

Is this the end?
The discussion is over. The debaters return to their corners and plan their next verbal offensive. Ah, freedom of speech, we take it for granted, do we not? Imagine if you lived in North Korea and you questioned the system. Yes, freedom of speech - a blessing. Great read Naut.
