I'll take an escargot pie over a MacDonald "beef" pie anytime. For those of you who still think that there is anything good in the MacDo stuff, just have a look at the movie "supersize me". You'll change your mind...

I thought
McDonald's hamburger patties were 100% beef! Are you telling me, Naut, that for the past .... years, I've been munching on Big Mac's that weren't the real deal? I'm stunned and need to lie down. LOL.

Escargo when cooked in butter and garlic its delicious!!! I have got to cook it for Taps some time... oysters are not even in the same ball park :-)  and about your snippet Naut I guess they can not miss any opportunities to diss the Americans, even though we give so much aid to that country. Please... those kids would love MacDonald's patties ...  Its sad  ...  xoxoxo

If I were hungry enough, I would eat snail pies.  But, since I'm not, I won't.
I tried escargo once and didn't care much for it.
I'd much rather have oysters.

I have eaten escargo and I like it......just somehow though.....
it's all in my mind...that;s where I don't like eating snails.Yet I will scrape an oyster off a rock, wash it in seawater and scoff it down.

Re: I've heard snails (escargot) are luscious dipped in butter...
You are RIGHT! They are delicious, especially with lots of garlic.

I've heard snails (escargot) are luscious dipped in butter...
but then the cardboard backing on a notebook might taste good dipped in butter. You'd think the folks might have already found this gourmet treat...
