U, Dashing through the cold has given the verb 'dashing' a vivid image
in my mind. I used to like the cold like that, for sleeping. Now, everyone must be in at a certain time and it all gets closed up and though sleeping isn't as delicious, the getting up is not as dashing, also.

I haven't yet acclimated myself to cold weather.
I must hurry to do that since Santa is on his way.
I'm still surprised that Indian summer already disappeared.
