Oh I enjoyed reading this. This all sound so true. I have felt this way and talked to my girlfriends about it as well. Now 32 single divorced with two children who are growing up. I will now stay single and work on my career.

If it weren't for "chemical attraction," each sex would probably occupy different hemispheres, preferring self-segregation over interaction of any kind. Of course, men would be in constant danger of being abducted and horribly used, by raving, roving, gangs of hormonally crazed women, estrogen driven to become pregnant, before it is too late. Also, getting his house will be nice, too.
The only way to really get to know another person, is to live with them, for years and years. If that works for you, don't tamper with a good thing. That makes it last longer. Never forget that, marriage will reveal just how very little you really knew that other person, when you were only living together.
