Do it!
I think it is a good idea. They are always saying that the call 'may' be recorded ...so turn about is fair play. Good luck, well wishes and may you win the lottery!

Recording?
this is better than recording, as now you have my written word. It is illegal to record a conversation unless you tell the other party you are doing so. It is just far better to ask for the name of the person you have talked to and then ask to talk to them again if you need to.
Happy 66, my turn is coming in a couple of months, once you let go of taking care of your children and let them start taking care of you a little, then you can have that happy 2nd childhood. As for me i let my children take care of themselves and hope i can care for myself for a few more years (i do not have the energy to take care of them and me) before i enter my 2nd childhood.

No, I've never done that, and I can't say that I have known anyone to do it either.

Lustorlove - Over here the customer service representative's conversation with a client will be recorded by the companies concerned so they will have a copy of it..I don't know how it is there but you can check if they do that too. Don't worry it's not dementia sweetie..LOL, You have a lot on your mind. I tend to forget many things these days too!!

Lustor
Not a bad idea - at least there won't be any "but you said...." type of conversations if you have it recorded what was agreed upon or discussed.
