Kaboom

As always, I enjoy hearing about your doings, as well as the pictures, though it's unfortunate that this teaching job is not what you probably hoped it to be.

But at least you have warm weather! Here we had -10C today...

My daughter-in-law was saying the same thing - Japan is feeling the recession as much, if not more, than we are in North America. She lives here in Canada, but her family are all in Japan. They are such a shy people - I can picture the girl getting embarrassed. It is unfortunate that the teaching is not working out, but everything happens for a reason. Maybe your book of short stories will be the reason?

Japanese loved their own language.
English maybe not included in their school curriculum.
