I believe that, too, my friend. And you can find Him ANYWHERE.

You were there
God surely belongs to everyone no matter what faith they were raised in.  A truly atmospheric and inspirational poem.

Thank you and what a dear name! Are you Irish or Scottish?

Your posts do the same thing; the way you see literature and the written word. It has expanded my appreciation. We are fortunate to have such a venue to share with each other!

Elyse!
I wish you could have seen it. Stained glass and the most exquisite marble. Everything was guilded and mosaic. The ceilings were canvasssed! Can you imagine someone smoothing canvas onto a dome, 90 feet or so in the air? I can't even smooth the bubbles out of wallpaper on a FLAT surface! No, that's devotion. Very, very awe-inspiring.

There are many places in my life like that...do you have a few? If so, I would love to hear about them. Then it will seem as if I'd been there, too.

Darson, this touched me --- like awe and reverence in reflection and warmth from your dear heart- like you found a treasure...and yes, as you were Directed - Guided.  This is beautiful ~ gave me good chills. Elyse

Darson - It's great when you find a place that's instills peace and beckons you over and over again. Great poem.
