I am of no help there lustorlove but it isn't early to put up a tree cos it's already the start of advent. The only thing is to have it look fresh till Christmas. Maybe if you really want to buy it, you could put it in a damp soil and keep spraying the tree with water every day. Just keep the soil damp sweetie. Not sure if it will work though.  I hope you can get the tree since you like it.

If you put that tree in water~I used to use a pail and build support for the tree on top~ fill it with water and a cup of brown sugar and that would keep the tree for a few weeks.

I was thinking of putting in a bucket of water to keep it fresh for a little longer and I am not sure how long these trees have been cut

The only thing  know of is to saw off another couple inches of the trunk; this is supposed to help.
