LOL..oh dear you truly are cute..how do you manage to get into these kind of situations, lustorlove but yes you have valid questions there. Now over here you would surely be lost cos there are 4 languages you need to know at least a tiny bit. Like when you go to an Indian mini market, you ask for bread in Tamil, a chinese shop, either in chinese or malay, in a malay shop..only malay and English every where else ..LOL. have a lovely evening sweetie.

The U.S.A. is getting like Canada, two languages, and that's tough to deal with after all these years of English being the language of the country.

I should have thought that a person would not be able to hold down
a job if they couldn't speak simple English. I wouldn't expectto find employment in say Quebec where French must be able to be spoken and understood.

Well, the language problem is quite acute in Miami. Luckily I'm fluent in Spanish, but otherwise English only sometimes get you nowhere. As for the shop assistants: I have given up on assuming that they even know what they sell in the store they work in, leave alone can explain to you if you need to know how a specific item works.

Re: Goof Up
I goofed up. What I meant to say is that the Oil Company is getting on its dealers who have not learned English. Too many thoughts were coursing through my brain.

That's really odd about you having to into both the drive thru and inside to eat. Sounds like an easy way to give away a red flag.

As it relates to the issue of those not learning English the Oil Company is really getting on its dealers that do not speak English as a first language.
