New Comment on Another perspective on Nidal Malik Hasan
I prefer burying our terrorist adversaries in the sand, as opposed to sticking our heads in the same sand.  This crisis is self-advancing and self-perpetuating.  It would not be good for the entire world if it is allowed to continue unabated.  The question thus becomes:  How much sand is left in that hourglass? I don't pretend to know any answer; but the questions are obvious . . . so why question the obvious?  joab

Naut, this excellent post requires more than a superficial comment, so I will take follow it up later today. You are right about the dangers of sticking our heads in the sand; there is a big problem out there and we need to address it.

See you later!

I have a son who is in the military and it is very difficult for him to say anything! It is the worst thing I could imagine happening! It was like you cited earlier, change the course of thought in the open while the plan stay covert in the mind until it is executed! It is an awful situation when soldiers have to keep their mouths shut! Shelly

‘Political correctness’ has made us dysfunctional…How true!  Is it something that can be remedied?  Or do we just keep putting on Mickey Mouse Bandaids after the fact?

The Fort Hood Massacre indeed could have been avoided. Sad that those in power did not do something beforehand.

and if he was a soldier on the other side and proclaimed his belief in
Jesus  Christ he would have been beheaded within the hour. Political correctness for us fools only
