I knew this one! When my sons went for Order of Arrow, they had to spend a night alone as part of their ordeal! This was Boy Scouts! They came home, and said it was tough! I said that is why they call it an ordeal! It changed them for the good and this legend helped them survive the night! sam

Those natives were clearly in touch with the Universe in a way we can hardly imagine. Such a neat story!
