sam444, I live in Tucson, Arizona, and it has been about 75 in the day time and 40 something at night. So, not too bad. My house is also an old abobe building with 18 to 24 inch thick walls of mud. Just an hour of open oven and the place is toasty all night.
I like negligent landlords, actually, my favorite kind. Leave me alone, like Greta Garbo and all is well.

Gracias, Kabu. I love to stop at my mom's house after my new job and describe the day and make her laugh until her teeth fall out, she chokes with laughter and can't speak. Makes me feel better, too.
