- Go to Poor village in Mexico
Re: benzinha
Thanks so much for the link. When I get more time
I will give it a good read. In Sonora we knew an American couple who made their house from natural material. It was really neat. They were down there to help the locals learn trades and they would have classes on solar energy, solar ovens, and building with natural material. But... as you see, most don't know how to do it.

All people have to do is deliver plastic feed bags, and barbed wire and
a short lesson on building earth bag houses and they would be living better and prettier. But, nobody does that, so, tired old wooden, ready to fall over places rule.
Made with food bags from CARE agencies of one sort or another HERE
So easy, so permanent, so sturdy and weatherproof and safe and BEAUTIFUL.

Re: OTA
It is really beautiful in Sonora, Mexico. The village we have lived in is poor, but not like that. Everyone in village 21 de Marzo has a house to live in, food and clothes. I miss it sometimes.

It is so terrible when folks are forced to live in substandard conditions in poverty areas! I so desire for a solution! sam

Some secretly want the U.S. to be more like foreign countries. What will they do when they get their way?

It looks like maybe they could use some bottles of multivitamins along with the clothing. Great picture. Reminds me of a trip we took once up in the mountains to a tiny village above Monterrey.
