It sounds like life is really uncertain for you at the moment. Difficult to make those decisions, but as you say - baby steps, one after the other!

My grandparent's dream of an RV life ended when their rig caught fire right in their home driveway.  So much for that.  As for me - I fantasize about going cross-country, but driving in my Prius and stopping at charming B&B's along the way.   Will never happen, though - Jeff's too much of a homebody....great post and I ESPECIALLY LOVED your definitions of HOME....Mal

I think I will stay where I am, just as long as I can.  I pulled a trailer a few times and I had to make sure that I parked in a pull through.  But, I can see you doing it right, and loving it.

Ciel

Your thought about the possibilities of a peripatetic life remind me that, once upon a time, I had this fantasy of living on a boat, permanently, with all the possibilities that entails, among them of weighing anchor and sailing the seven seas any time one felt like it.

The problem was that, to be livable, the damn thing had to be about as big as my house, which means that it would be about six times as expensive as my house (I have no idea why!), and also, of course, with that kind of ship I would need a crew. And finally, my LSW gets seasick just thinking about water (she sailed with me exactly once, with disastrous results...), so in the end I dropped the idea, and I guess I'm stuck...

Your thoughts on homeare mine.I just love the space I share

with Wiley and Mr. G. I am not sure about the trailor the gypsy life

I know a woman who did it for two years......eventually a state gov.put her on a train and sent her home. She told her daughter that she had spent two years getting lost and it almost took her mind.

Other reason is I can't back upa trailor. It is a tough call. but good idea to get out and find out what is out there. Or surf the Internet.

My thoughts exactly as I plan my move to Patzcuaro next year....
Scary wonderful, I am my home. Good luck to you. I love your thought process and definitions of all that we call home.
