Hey there Darson...

Sorry about your gluten allergies.  My Uncle's wife has severe Juvenille Diabetes, to the point where it has actually paralyzed her stomach muscles.  She's also gluten intolerant now as a result of the Diabetes.

Have you tried using gluten free cookbooks, Honey?  The varieties are so many, and the recepies look delicious!  You could also google for websites devoted to those with gluten issues.  I'm sure you could find appetizing recipes there as well.

Hope your kids enjoy their breakfast!

Ohhhhh that sounds soooo good!

I've developed a gluten allergy that makes it hard (if not impossible) to have all things pastry...but I CRAVE it all the time! If I do break down and partake, I get super sick for a couple of days, so it's not worth it...but what I wouldn't give for a dish like this! And the apples with the bacon....ohhhhh pure Heaven! Never thought to put that combo together but I will be considering it tomorrow morning for sure. Thanks to you, my kids might just get a fabulous breakfast in the morning...they'll be so shocked, they'll fall right over.

Breakfast is good anytime, especially if one doesn't feel like going to a lot of trouble.  My sister makes a good breakfast pizza in a hurry with those canned biscuits mashed out for dough, some sliced precooked sausage links, beaten eggs poured around over it, grated cheddar cheese and bake it in a hot oven for about ten minutes.  Have a little warm marinara sauce or salsa to go with it, and yum.

I like breakfast for dinner also and
the apple pastry and bacon sounds yum, yum.  Richard was a gourmet cook and he taught me how to fix eggs and if they are even browned the least little bit he considered them burned.  He ate them anyway but I soon learned to slow cook them the way he liked.  I miss his biscuits.  They were so good.Eggs
