It seems America is celebrating it less and less. It goes from Halloween and Thanksgiving seems to get skipped over. Today they were putting Christmas decorations up on main street.

It is about the food during the holidays! It amazes me the amount of money spent and preparing a meal just to listen to snoring afterward! lol sam

Thanksgiving Day at the fights! Sponsored by Gillette Blue Blades?

I think it was you or Naut who recently coined a new (compound)word, "Contemorary insanity." It is insane to confine at least a dozen abrasive family members, each having traveled from hundreds of miles in every direction, irritable after hours of driving in the family van, with their kids, add in alcohol and too few chairs, children all running around screaming, breaking things, and monopolizing the only television, a 10" black & white, with rabbit ears antenna, (useless now) in Granma's little house. At LEAST half of the family members are in-laws, generally disliked by the true blood family, and truth be known, only tolerate each other. I shudder to think what would happen if someone combined Boxing Day with Thanksgiving Day, here in the lower colonies.
Regarding women and dust,.....I don't know what to tell ya, Pal. Women and dust are mortal enemies. It's in their blood. I was owned once by one, who asked me to pull out a built-in stove, because she just KNEW that there was dust hiding back there, behind it.
