Re: Hi love!

lindo, thanks for stopping by and reading.

I shall miss you if you do decide to go, but shall understand.

We are very brave women, aren't we? We try new things and dare to rock our own worlds to make something better, eventually.

Berlitz teaching is soooooooooooo demanding. I taught Mexican CEOs in the insurance industry and banking industry in the '60s and did it all night long in my sleep. I saw the world, or rahter, heard the world differently.

I speak so carefully to foreigners while others who have not taught the language, just blabber on, assuming that words are understood in haste and with different accents than their listeners' ears have expected to hear.

Thanks for training them for such great responsibility............I remember my parents trying to learn in their 40s, not easy when older.

Hi love!

My grey matter must have been sucked out by Berlitz coz I did not understand the first half of the post . I am having trouble reading proper English when I spend all my waking hours "communicating" in a bare bone version of the language!!!!!

Anyway, I understand your feelings of being overwhelmed by a different teaching experience. I had the same feeling when I was told that I would have to teach the UKIEs (groups of 12-15 Polish civil seravnts on a mission to improve their English before Poland assumes the presidency of the EU in July 2011). Now, they are my favourite groups, it just takes time and a degree of confedence in yourself.

Best of Luck, love!

I can picture you and your very particular brand of "teaching". Those kids don't know how lucky they are. Keep going!

Re: How wonderful

Sure, Azur, easy for you to say, hehehehhhh, you, you aren't surrounded by little wild children who don't listen and are to be corralled and then educated. Sigh.

I am Greta Garbo and vant to live and verk alone in this life and NOW I am a teacher !!! This, surely, will drive me out of the country and into Mexico. Escape. The jjob, temporarily, is described as going on until April 18th. We shall see if they let me last that long. Or, if I can sustain this brilliance that Kabu believes that I possess.

Thanks for thinking that I might make it.

Re: thank goodness you don'thave credentials. Some of your brilliance

I hope, Kabu, that your previously brilliant son gets back into permanent communication with you, so that you will know whether he is still brilliant or not............!!!

I visualize products now that the kinder kids begin and the 6th graders finalize...........I am now looking for a box to keep our products inside of as we have begun the real procuss of manufacturing. We began with primary colors.

The principal wants to come and watch some day soon, so I am freaking out about that. Hate just hate being judged, especially when all of them are college grads in education. Sigh.

thank goodness you don'thave credentials. Some of your brilliance

may have been curbed. My son was told by his teachers at the conservatorium of music to get out and go perform and compose.Conservatorium is forr mediocracy they said.

He's brilliant ...or was//dunno now ......you are truly brilliant and you and the kids will learn and have such fun together.
