Re: war on school
well the discussion ended with the follow rules being placed on my son.....
He has been put on report, meaning that he must be in school for 8:45 each morning.
He will be kept late after school so he can catch up on work he has missed.
Oh and the best one......he must attend school whether he is ill or not!!!
great discussion....not!
Basically it is my fault for not sending him to school
It is my fault that he has missed out so much work
They will however allow for the fact that there is some issues at home that is affecting him but this is not top be used as an excuse for bad behaviour in class.

I believe your son is a hands on learner and schools with children in desks do not accommodate the needs of your son and others like him! He needs to more frequently than a desk will allow! I would go armed with my medical papers! And truly remind them it is their job to educate your son and extenuating circumstances occur and they should be empathetic of his situation! It is difficult enough when a child is well! sam

Good luck! It sounds as though it's going to be a difficult discussion.
