Very interesting--you are the stuff that success is made of. One day soon, I will be telling people, "I knew that writer way back when."

I must say....it feels like I just had a chat with you over a cup of coffee......I'm so jealous of people that are so comfortable with expressing their thoughts. It's a real talent!

You have certainly had a very hard life one way and another; but you seem to have come out on top of things. With what you've been through you'll never run out of literary inspiration.
My first computer crashed that way; an IBM to boot. Luckily I lost nothing of value. All the very best for a happy and productive day, Pat.

Wow Pat, I really truly love your writing. You are someone I would like to get to know. What a life you've led. I was cringing at the part where your computer crashed....if everything happens for a reason, I'm sure there's some greater plan there...but how utterly frustrating. You've inspired me, too, to get out all of my old journals and put them on something else so that they're legible. It would be extremely healing to go back through them, I'm sure of that. When my grandmother died, my grandfather burned all of her journals; years of her history, the literary heart of who she was...gone. I am really saddened that he chose to do that. Possibly he found something in there that was incriminating to either himself or his deceased wife....but still. What a treasure was lost. It sounds like you are perservering, and I'm so glad. Can't wait to read the finished product!
