Hi, I appreciate your comments! I am aware a air gauge is called a regulator as I dive, but thought many - particualarly those that didn't, might not have a clue and know what I was talking about. Cheers.

Excellent descriptions.
Perhaps, "Although the water was darker, it was clear enough to see the bottom." This would lead the reader to believe it was dark below the surface, but not so dark as to not know what is going on. Also, the "air gauge" is called a regulator in diving circles. Am I being a pain in the ass, here or what? I'm really sorry, forgive me. I won't comment from now on. Except a "hello" every now and again. keep up the writing, I think you stories are great, really - I'm not bullshitting you.
