Did you know shama, to provoke thoughts is a new-found vocation in my writings as it first helps me meditate on sujects challenging. Standing by, and simply watching as a witness, as you observe, are going to be the extensions of this write.

The Will in control is, in fact, a precursor to controlling the mind. Thank you for your visit and comment.

Thank you so much for your loads of gifts that I treasure. Judge Ye Not, also becomes somewhat clear from this, I guess. I wish you quick healing and catch up only if you so feel and have the time. For the moment, just relax.

I first throw a challenge to my own understandings, and only then share it with dear readers like you.

It does sound so, but upon reflecting on it will found to be true that a non-interfering mind is ever peaceful.

It is otherwise a difficult subject for explanation. We will together try and make these understandable.

I think all that are the essentials of our selves are difficult to master because they do away with the false perceptions of the self to which we attach ourselves with, and do not ever wish to break the rosy delusional dreams we keep experiencing therein.

Hi, abanerjee, a thought provoking piece. If you stand by as an observer & study the working of the mind, it helps to control it better............then you are no longer a slave at command.

Dear Aba ~ I want to first thank you so much for your visits while I am healing --- I am very appreciative and find again, such joy from your exhuberant and thoughtful comments.  and now, as Wordsworth your analysis : "to be in awareness of a feeling only to be felt, but not judged" is superb and if only and I aspire to reach this level with discipline  for example: it's even when I take a picture to capture something --- to capture the essence --- it never reveals exactly as I imagine or picture it would or should??? turn out... --- and if the picture doesn't reveal (often enough) what I feel then I think: silly you...it's YOUR GIFT ~ you can't capture it, the gift...it's free -  ~ Peace to you Aba and I hope to be on for the weekend.  and I will continue reading until I catch up ~ Elyse

It is so true the mind butts in! So many adages came to mind that proves this point! My favorite has always been mind over matter! It can be controlled with work  and I do think it is essential! The mind can plant seeds of doubt as well as the positive! Grand post! sam
