It is a mess and I haven't seen a clear direction yet! We do need to revisit the past to keep from falling in the same snare! I wish a look would be taken! That would be a rush to grab a train and head to a far place to catch an event! Love the close too, very apt! sam

Your point about learning from history is very relevant IMOP. It's not the first time leaders have shown this type of fatal ignorance. It was a merciful advantage for the allies during the second world war when Hitler's armies invaded the Soviet Union; had he never heard of Napoleon's problems, I wonder.
I do not wish to comment on your suggestion about Mexico. However living in a country that has been contributing actively to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan I too wish we could soon back out, because it does not seem to be helping anybody.
