Sinome
How do you manage to keep being so creative about the emotional drame of life?

How often we have to wear a mask and smile, when the heart is breaking inside.

Wow what a great poem. Incredible how we can hoard around each other and still be so totally lonely....sometimes lonelier in a crowd than even if we were by ourselves. This really brought back some stuff for me...but in a good way...quite cleansing, actually. And the frustration of when someone finally talks to her, it seems unkind. Ironic. Thank you for those lovely lines, Sinome.

I'm afraid that we all need to work at listening--really listening--for in this world, listening is much more necessary than any amount of words could ever be.

Sinome - you have drawn a nice picture of the reality of things. Many people go through this and no body know the severe pain underneath. But all what people see is the beautiful smile (very sad)  thank you for sharing    Chuck.

"though they appear to care, its just for themselves they do" - ouch!
Sad, but true, and when they try to show they care their words just do more harm than good...(been there)...that's when you want to yell "Shut up please! You're hurting more than helping!".......
