- Go to How long is a piece of string? -- one answer and a wise poem
I'd forgotten that we used to ask, "How far can you go into the woods?"
Great poem. Thanks for sharing.

The poem left me feeling very ti.red and I sat pondering why
I reread it several times and I realize it describes my life too closely and I don't ever want to have to face another upheaval. I am just tired. Three marriages and so many moves. My life here is so perfect let it be the last.

I like the poem! And I missed your previous post with that "How long is a string' business yesterday...
Here's my answer:
How long is a string?
We have Professor Planck
To thank
Who said that any string must be
Longer than m 10 - 33

I’m still basking in the answer to “how long is a piece of string” and your description of it as being “elegant in its own WTF way”….. LOL

That wise poem reminded me how the day after the break-up of my marriage, I looked up at the sky and thought: 'Well, the sun's still shining!'
