Re: shobana
Thank you so much dear one for your appreciation of this Shakespearean tragedy. I wonder how much one can extract from just a few lines, think fifteen of them or so. It can turn into volumes. Today, I propose to give a sequel to the story, only of the bit that I mentioned and not the drama as a whole as to its relevance in today's times, that is, are they really worth?

Abanerjee - Excellent and will wait for further intrepretation. I like how you highlighted her mental preparation before the execution of murder..a gruesome thought indeed.

Re: moon
Yes magic moon, that is the magic of Shakespeare that it keeps one on the edge of his seat which no Hollywood can match. Thank you, Sir.

Dear Abanerjee ~ I am reading your blogs here on Lady Macbeth --- it's interesting to me and I think I've come to the age where I can read it without wincing.  My elder sister, Regina (she passed at age 42) was enchanted by Macbeth - even nicknamed one of her boy children, McDuff --- and I was moved at a young age by the passion and the whole makeup of this novel ---  ---- I found it oddly scarey.   I will keep reading and so appreciative of your bringing yet another great study to your blog ~ You are a  in my books.  Write on ~ Elyse

Re: sam

In the present context of what we understand to be be divine was not so during the times of Shakespeare. Natue, we know, is not divine, but the work of divinity. In those days lightning caused fear, today we harness it for electricity to do our works, almost as our slaves. Shakespeare's era may not have been of the pagans but was also not fully Christian, scientific understandings yet very infant. Thank you sam for giving this input for thought.

Re: chuck_ibrahim

I appreciate your reply to me and to Tzippy. I hope further discussion and thoughts on the violence perpetrated even by a minority section of the Muslims who, I agree. do not represent Islam or Mohammed or his teachings, need further diggings on the mentality of a community, and why even the stray happenings repeatedly? Once in a while is excusable somewhat. No derogatory remarks passed or any insult intended, I'll want to delve into its causes. Hope you will not mind. Thank you for your visit my friend, and it is heartening to note that you don't find it a long one, the storyline being so absorbingly magnetic. Classics are those that remain evergreen. Thank you so much.

I had my comment ready to go and these darn emoticons refuse to load at times, so I thought I was ending the selection and I had clicked to close the blog page itself and I lost it! So, I was saying that it astounds me that death is such a quick option when a person presents itself as an obstacle to the gain of another! It has been this way forever, too! I adored her being taken aback as the opportunity presented itself so openly and without any hint of abnormality on the part of others! The diveine waas a bit difficult for me to grasp as per her thinkking, it is a matter of bad timing on the part of the kin! I await for the continuing thoughts! As I have witnessed at this blog it is a fine effort and it has the taste of pure work, too! KUDOS to you Abanerjee! sam
