Let's see -- Jan. 20 - November 7 is not quite a year -- More like 10 months.
And of course you blame Obama for all that is wrong.
Actually, you've decided from the start that he was wrong, and you nit-pick to find any minor problem. I get the feeling that you don't watch, listen to, or read the news much. Otherwise, you'd perceive that many indicators are improving, but that many employers are not yet ready to re-employ. You don't want to comment on how much worse things might be without the stimulus (which was advised by all major economists) or the "cash for clunkers" program. There are a lot of people quite grateful for that.

It will take LONGER than a year to recover from the damage Bush did to this country. Unemployment is getting worse because dumb asses like you are doing all they can to paint a negative picture and that is making companies worry. The economy IS getting better, of that there is NO doubt. Now if we can get those like you who refuse to accept such facts to listen for once and pull their heads out of their asses, then maybe companies will start hiring. It is the mindless, and baseless negative propaganda being spit out by those who only wish to discredit Obama simply becasue you are sore losers that is damaging this country more than anything else right now. If you would just grow up for once and do what is right for a change you coudl for once help to solve the problem instead of making it worse.

Oh, I Get It!
"Well, the economy is getting better now. If things keep going like they should, a year from now things will be looking much, much better. And becasue Obama and the democrats are in power, they will get the credit for it. That means that most likely this time next year the population of thsi country will be voting strongly liberal."
So we need to wait until things are positive until we can then credit democrats for the positive things, huh? Until then just blame Bush, right? Oh and thanks for the update that this time next year everyone in the nation will vote for liberals. Did you notice that obama and democrats are and have been in power all year? Or is it that it just takes time for the greatness you speak of to kick in, that's it right? Ok, ok, I will wait some more. Until then I should just ignore the fact that the unemployment has risen above 10% and will go higher because he economy is getting better right? Ok, I will. Any more words of wisdom?

Think about it. The world is supposed to be in cataclysmic times from 2012 onward; wouldn't it be more fun to blame a Republican than a Progressive for ending the world? Being independent of either party, I may have my druthers, but who's to say?
